Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California Celebrates Honorees: Georgie Gleim, Shelly Sergent and Molly Peterson

Southern California, (October 20, 2023) — The Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California held its 79th Annual Dinner Dance and Gala at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey, CA, on Saturday, October 7th.

This year’s Excellence in Service honoree was Shelly Sergent, Curator of the Somewhere in the Rainbow Collection in Phoenix, AZ. The Lifetime Achievement Award honoree was Georgie Gleim of Gleim the Jeweler in Palo Alto, CA. The Rising Star Award honoree was Molly Peterson, Bridal Buyer for Ben Bridge Jeweler. Also for the first time, attendees voted for 24 Karat Style Awards for men and women at the event; the winners were Kalpesh Jhaveri and Jessa Rizzo.

“I really look forward to this event each year as it brings together such a great group of people, representing all areas of our jewelry industry,” stated Adam Graham, President of the Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California. “We had a well-deserving slate of honorees this year, and for the first time in the event’s history, they were all women. The Ritz Carlton also proved to be a beautiful venue with guests enjoying fabulous food, cocktails next to the marina and the perfect room to dance the night away.”

Next year’s Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California’s Dinner Dance is scheduled for Saturday, September 28th, 2024.
